ABOUT DEVOTION AND ECSTASY POEMS

I settle between two worlds.

The two worlds are such:

The world of the Materialist who is too self-centered to Feel the subtlety of Her Grace and the world of the Spiritualist who is too self-centered to Feel and touch the Feet of Reality.

Both these worlds are arrogant and refuse to be Touched.

The Materialist is turned off by concept of “Purity” and the Spiritualist finds personal passions Perverse.

I am sick of both extremes: the iconic obsession of Hollywood Celebrities raised to the status of Empty Gods—and the extreme of those “Hooked on Rumi” passively masturbating to the songs of an old record that sounds good although is filled with dust.

Who finds their own Interpretation in Life? Who wants to Experience?

I settle in the place where Grace has nothing to do with either…that you don’t need to be a Sinner or a Saint to walk the line.

I speak from my Heart and from my Devotion to both material and immaterial: I address the Pain that is in my Soul, reflect upon the Darkness in my sentient Life—and I explore the Perversions and Purity of Reality.

“Devotion and Ecstasy” is my escape route—it’s a strange path I’ve paved out within my psyche where I can speak to the One directly.

Herewith, I feel charged, safe and sane.

It is my hope that the Reader who is opened and in synch with the material—is able to feel that journey—as if they’ve discovered it on their own.
