Poem: In Blue
20080910
IN BLUE
Today you arrived in a Gown
it was golden-blue;
it made flowers grow from my body
my skin melted like warm honey
it made my sweat sing like sweet almonds
my mind silken like tropical flower
How did you arrive in the harshness of life—
when reality cracks limbs in its grind?
This gown,
it is like Blue Yarrow—hinted by Ylang Ylang;
the trails of a Lover’s touch…
This gown,
bears the golden face of Roman Chamomile
sighing deeply for German Blue.
I have consumed your Fragrance
tasted you in the Summit—
and followed you to the princess of Pearls.
This Fabric consists of kisses
by a million miniature suns.
If this is just a glimpse
I fear for my Madness—
to experience
what Unfathomable else
you could possibly wear.
