Believe it or not, I have not slept since yesterday. I’m not tired and I don’t know that the fuck is going on.
It’s like I have an endless supply of energy.
I decided to put together mix of my favorite Electro tracks. I was inspired to mix a new CD (which I do every now and then).
My friends use to tell me that the music in my car is actually better than what they play in nightclubs. People used to dance around my car in NYC when I’m parked!
Yesterday I wrote about how depressing it is that I’ve resorted to considering going to Crystal Method concert in Colorado–simply because I’m certain there’s no real clubbing music around.
So I was inspired to mix all the “hard core” edgy and Funky Electro that I personally like to listen to; and some basic House.
Keep in mind that I am NO D.J., so my mixes are sort of piled on top of each other; and I actually “edited” (cross fade) them using my video editing system (as opposed to a mixer; I don’t know how to mix records anyway). The following tracks and sampled off of other DJ tracks.
The mix is about 35 minutes long. It starts off fairly tame (and somewhat vanilla) and gets totally senile by the end.
To get in the mood: try to imagine you’re in a dark sweaty shit hole (preferably in Europe, Tokyo or NYC) with tons of People bouncing madly in unison at the same time.
